Kiran V Godse, Anant Patil
Kiran V. Godse, MD, PhD, FRCP (Glasgow) is a Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital in Navi Mumbai, India, where he also serves as a Consultant Dermatologist at Apollo Hospital. Dr. Godse is a distinguished leader in Indian dermatology, having served as the National President of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) in 2020. He is a member of the expert group for the EAACI/GA2LEN/WAO international urticaria guidelines and has served as a Focus Session Director for the urticaria session at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Summer Meeting since 2013. He has been a guest speaker at the EADV annual meeting on Platelet Rich Plasma and has received scholarships from multiple international dermatology organizations. With over 180 publications to his name, Dr. Godse has edited eight books, including the Handbook of Urticaria and Handbook of Angioedema. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Skin Allergy .
Anant Patil, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India . He has co-authored over 85 peer-reviewed articles and has collaborated with scholars in India, Germany, and the United States. His research has been published in prestigious journals such as the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Viruses, and the Journal of Clinical Medicine. Dr. Patil’s areas of expertise include dermatologic treatments, urticaria and related conditions, and the regulation and function of hair follicle stem cells. He is recognized as a top-rated expert for Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) and melasma. He has previously collaborated with Dr. Godse on several books as part of the Global Allergy and Asthma European Network (GA2LEN) initiative, including Urticaria: Interesting Cases, Interesting Cases in Atopic Dermatitis, and Pruritus and Handbook of Urticaria
